A fresh look for a major tech brand
Acquia was founded by the creator of Drupal, Dries Buytaert. After they completed a rebrand with a separate agency, they hired me to update their website and all subpages to fit their new brand guidelines.
Challenge:
I was tasked with updating the look and feel of their website and over 100 sub pages. Also, they tasked me with creating social media posts.
Objective:
Update Acquia's brand experience across all pages into a cohesive story.

With the design language established, my job was to go through and update the UX and UI of every page. I started with Making low-fidelity wireframes.
Following the wireframes, I refined and finalized each page—typically completing one or two iterative design rounds per page—to ensure consistency with the refreshed brand guidelines.
Acquia's annual conference Engage was coming up, so I designed a set of pages for the event to help users track sessions and events they were interested in.
Social media posts were also part of the project. I designed a set of posts that could be adapted to multiple sizes for different platforms.
The site update and social media campaign resulted in a 12% increase in demo requests in the 3 months after launch. I was glad to be a part of this major brand's update and help them achieve this bump.
Takeaways
I learned a lot through this experience. It was my first time working with a major brand like this. I learned a lot about adapting brand identity to UI and UX designs as well as how to work in a fast paced corporate environment.
